F1 Speeds into Vegas!

Brace yourselves! Formula 1 will be coming in hot in Vegas at record high speeds! The Formula 1 Grand Prix will span the weekend of November 16-18th going through the iconic Las Vegas Strip. With all sorts of new entertainment and spaces coming to Las Vegas, this is just another one to add to the list of iconic Vegas events! This race is one of a kind and hasn’t happened in town since the 1980s, so a lot has definitely changed since then! The brand new Las Vegas Grand Prix Pit Building has been in construction for this momentous occasion along with updating the public infrastructure that would affect the race.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix

From start to finish, the race goes through the bright and blinding lights of the Vegas Strip! From looping around the brand new Sphere to down and through iconic properties, this race is definitely one you don’t want to miss! From stunning views to high speeds, the adrenaline will surely be at an all time high. The track is 3.8 miles long and expects to see speeds of 212 mph! Check out the track layout and take the wheel with an animated tour of the circuit here! No matter where you’ll be watching the race from, there’s no doubt that there will be a great sight attached, even if you’re watching from home.

What to Expect from F1 for Attendees

Tickets have been flying out left and right, with some options already sold out. If you plan on attending and have yet to purchase a ticket, make sure to jump on that right away to ensure you secure your spot! There are plenty of ticket options to choose from, each with a different view and package! Definitely read up on all the options and cross compare them with the track to curate your ideal experience.

For locals and tourists, transportation will probably be the toughest issue during this time due to road closures and required parking passes for certain resorts. F1 recommends utilizing rideshare services to the designated drop-off areas near your closest zones. As we get closer to the race and construction is constantly happening, make sure to be aware of all the projects going on! The F1 website does a great job of outlining the expected timelines for paving, bridge construction and more things to be aware of.

In addition to the race, there will be entertainment at different zones to watch out for! From big artists like J Balvin to a Vegas classic, the Blue Man Group, there is more to watch than just the race! With Las Vegas being the entertainment capital of the world, this is all in addition to the already endless activities Vegas has to offer. Casinos and resorts will still be open during this week, so you’ll have no problem finding something to do!

Conclusion

Overall, I’m sure the whole city is looking forward to this race and seeing what it’ll bring to Las Vegas! With the addition of the Sphere opening about a month before the race and all the new buildings that have been in construction for the race, we are looking forward to seeing how it turns out. This is also a big step for new entertainment opportunities landing in Las Vegas, as we’ve already seen with the addition of sporting teams that weren’t here previously! As a Vegas based event production company, we are excited to see the city grow in unimaginable ways and experience the magic for ourselves!
